Ronald Fitten

R.K. Fitten is a trained journalist, who has done extensive reporting across the country, specializing in criminal justice and social issues. He also has considerable experience in market and public opinion research.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, spent a year as a Journalism Fellow at the University of Michigan, and has been the recipient of more than a dozen feature and news-writing-reporting awards, including the Washington State Governor’s Journalism Award for stories about the developmentally disabled.

The March, which he characterizes as art imitating life, is his debut novel. A second novel, Music Rain, will be released in the fall of 2026.
The pandemic, Fitten revealed, compelled him to embark on a “dark night of the soul writing sojourn” that he expects to continue until he “transitions to the land of stars.”
